Thanks for the update, Brynn. Cheering you on from afar.

I'm a lot older than you, but still figuring out the identity and the path. The line "express gratitude to those who appreciate you for who you are, not just for what you do" jumps out.

One thing that's helping me today: the chapter "Live in Day-Tight Compartments" in the book "How to Stop Worrying and Start Living" by Dale Carnegie.

Especially these lines:

"The load of tomorrow, added to that of yesterday, carried today, makes the strongest falter."

"The best possible way to prepare for tomorrow is to concentrate with all your intelligence, all your enthusiasm, on doing today's work superbly today. That is the only possible way you can prepare for the future."

"Anyone can carry his burden, however hard, until nightfall." (R.L. Stevenson)
